Bass Season Is Here at Fishtrap Creek!

The Bass Season has begun in the Fraser Valley. We decided to visit a favorite spot. In hopes of well, anything we could catch. Fishtrap Creek is on the west side of Abbotsford. A very nice park, where most can't believe there is fish in the creek. The water is black and full of lilipads. But it hides a variety of fish. It contains, Cutthroat trout, Large mouth Bass, Pumkinseed sunfish, Black Crappy and Bullhead catfish. We usually fish this place with bobbers and worms, or bottom rigs, due to narrow channel, heavy with Lillies. Weedless lures can be used and do produce. We started fishing here for Bullhead catfish and were surprised by the diversity. Close to home, a fun favorite.
