First fishing trip outside the Fraser Valley. Fountain (Kwotlenemo) Lake is located southwest of Lillooet. It has a great Rainbow Trout population. Dean has been fishing this spot since childhood. Three generations of his family have been coming here. There is a solid population of wild trout here and it is stocked as well. Best way to fish this beautiful little lake is strangely enough, off shore. Lures, like Flys, spoons, spinners all work well but for best results bobbers and worms or bottom rigs. Rainbow trout is the only fish available here. Ranging is sizes, up to Three pounds. Fish have been seen that have been estimated at seven pounds. Great summer location, if you can get a spot. The lake can be walked around, offering many beautful and productive fishing holes. The lake has four nice campsites and some very private. With exceptional views. We'll be going back soon. Hope you enjoyed this video on the first day of our trip. Day two is coming out soon.Like Share and Subscribe
