Trolling Cultus Lake & Catching Rainbow Trout

We spent , a few hours trolling ,for whatever would bite at Cultus Lake. To our surprise the trout were biting. We trolled Wedding bands and worms and a crickhopper. The weather was perfect, unusual for the area. Incredible scenery and crystal clear water. We used the Alluminum boat and an electric engine. We launched the boat at Jade Bay and trolled along the shore line. We used a fish finder and the fish we caught were all around 25-30ft. This location is about an hour from home. Well worth the time. Good fishing and stunning views. During weekends and holidays, it can be extremely crowded. The introduction of the Small Mouth Bass has made this location more exciting. One of our favorite spots.
