Fishing Nicomen Slough

In this video you will see a video from late September. The weather was nice, it had been a long summer. The Creek was quite stagnant and covered in a scum layer but the fish were still biting. There was a lot of controversy over this spot. After a thorough talk with DFO, we found out we were perfectly legal. Unfortunately, some people in the Fraser Valley are always looking for your mistakes. Hopefully we have put this to rest. We used medium action rods with Bobbers and Worms. We almost always practice catch and release, so we can come back and catch these fish again. We call this place the Creek but it is part of Nicomen Slough. Hope you enjoy.
