In this video we go fishing Whonnock Lake and wow what a day we had. On a whim we decided to throw the canoe into Whonnock Lake. We trolled wedding bands and worms and the bite was crazy. We caught three species Cutthroat trout, Rainbow trout and Crappy. We believe that there is a population of wild Cutthroat trout here. As you could see, there was a distinct difference in the shape of these fish. The hatchies have rounded tails, clipped fins where the cutties seemed natural. pointy tail, sharper nose, slimmer and no clipped fins. Either way, it made for some fun fishing. Finding the Crappy was an added bonus. Interesting little fish. Quite yellow, a result of the water color. Fun just the same. Whonnock Lake is 20 minutes from home. Like & Subscribe And Share.
