A Fishing Vacation (Episode 3)

In this video we are fishing the Assiniboine river, near opening. The fishing was fun and Dean caught an unexpected fish. A Walleye. From rumor, we'd heard that they are rare in this part of the river. This location is in Sturgis Saskatchewan. The park and campground are beautiful. Fishing near opening here, is really good. As the season goes on, you see smaller fish in large numbers. A fun spot to fish. Very shallow and best fished with spoons and swimbaits. This spot shows the hidden beauty of the area.
