Fishing Vaseux Lake ."Tench"

In this video we fish at a gorges lake and have a blast watch and see what happens. We'd been driving since Banff and we'd just finished setting up camp. The water was within steps of our campsite, so we couldn't resist throwing our lines in. Even though we were exhausted, we gave it a try and were not disappointed. It turned out to be a multi-species fishing hole. Surprising us the most was catching a Tench. We believed they were only in Europe. Extremely fun fish to catch. Dean hooked a second one that was bigger than the first, and lost it. Wish we had more time. Awesome spot, cheap campsite on the water. We will be back. Hot Okanagan weather and outstanding fishing.
