Fishing The Assiniboine River Manitoba

In this video we fish the Assiniboine River Manitoba. This was our first stop on our adventure to Lockport. The weather was terrible, and it didn't look good for getting a fish. But we wanted to try. And to our surprise, the fishing was far better than we anticipated. We caught a variety of fish and all sizes. We were not expecting to catch Channel Catfish and of course, it was a thrill. A quick stop turned into several hours. It was well worth it. Manitoba has been good to us and this was no different. We fished near the Dam here but most of the bite was further down stream. Easy access spot, just off the road. The beach area is quite muddy(quick sand). All and all, a great fishing spot. we will return. Like & Subscribe and Share.
