Fishing In Pea Soup
In this video we catch a diversity of fish. On this trip we go to Lake Of The Prairie. Targeting Rock Bass. Well, we didn't get what we were after but caught a variety of fish. The Rock Bass are still elusive, we will be back for them. We started at the bridge crossing the Lake. Ben got a decent Red Horse Sucker but we got little else. We made a move, down the road, in the bay. The bay area was inundated with algae and smell was of rotting veggies. It coated the shore line , out to 6-7' and 4" thick. The fishing picked up and we had some fun. Due to the amount of algae in the water we didn't want to keep any of these fish. Fun to catch and release, just the same. We were using medium action rods and 8-10# test. We were using primarily worms but did use some minnows. Another favorite of ours. This place has produce some nice fish. Will be back soon.
