A Better Day Ice Fishing

In this video we finally get some good fishing through the ice. After several skunks and a lot of effort, we finally got into a school of fish. Although, all small fish, it was still exciting. We spent four hours and the fishing was steady. We used medium action, light action, heavy action and medium heavy rods. We used Pickerel rigs and minnows. We moved three times and on the third move we found the fish. We have a simple fish finder, reads depth, and bottom make up, and fish. It is not a live scope or side scan. So we can only hope when we put lines down that the fish will be there. This trip was fun and we want more. Like and Subscribe and Share.
