The Final Dance - March Madness Last Ice Fishing Mission Lake (walleye Perch Cisco)

March 31, 2022 marks the end of my ice fishing season. Not gonna lie, Mission Lake Saskatchewan gave us a treat. It was probably the best ice fishing day this winter as far as fish activity and numbers being caught. Now I just can’t wait for open water season! Saskatchewan Sportfish Research Group’s response: Walleye F3069 was tagged on February 26, 2022 after being weighed in at the Big Red Machine tournament on Mission Lake. Our records show that it was exactly the same length that you measured, and it weighed 290 grams (0.6 lbs) when we tagged it. This fish was a bit positively buoyant and had a bit of trouble submerging, but ultimately must have been ok! It was tagged on the south side of the lake across from the boat launch.
