It’s always important to have a traditional anchor in your boat. Not only for fishing, but to provide you an opportunity to stay put should you have an engine failure. Some electric trolling motors like the Minn Kota Terrova come with a GPS enabled anchor feature. Push the anchor button on the trolling motor remote control, and your boat stays right in one place on top of the fish.
