Memorial Lake
Memorial Lake is a small, pretty, recreational and fishing lake just south of the Village of Shell Lake and 92km W of Prince Albert. Access to the lake is from Highway 3 and 12.
[Memorial Lake Regional Park](#memorial-lake-regional-park) is located on the northwest side of the lake and offers a sandy beach, campground, boat launch, golf course, and many other great amenities. There are private cabins in the Regional Park as well as other subdivisions around the lake.
The nearby Village of Shell Lake provides services including a grocery store, hardware store, and restaurants. [Aurora Skies Resorts](#aurora-skies-resorts) is adjacent to the Regional Park and offers year-round, fully stocked cabin rentals.
Northern Pike, Yellow Perch, Walleye and White Sucker can be found in Memorial Lake. There are a number of other lakes popular for fishing nearby including [Iroquois Lake](/iroquois-lake/), [Fur Lakes](/fur-lakes/), and [Nesland Lake](/nesland-lake/)(stocked trout).
The name of Memorial Lake originated from the [WW1 Memorial](#memorial-hill) on a hill over looking the lake.
