Wolseley, Saskatchewan Swinging Bridge
Wolseley, Saskatchewan, is a picturesque town with a peaceful atmosphere. We visited to capture its beauty with our drones and my camera on a Sunday when it wasn't as busy. The town has maintained historic buildings, including the first Beaver Lumber store and the oldest courthouse and public library in Saskatchewan. A swinging bridge, rebuilt in 2004, crosses Fairly Lake, created in 1902 when the Canadian Pacific Railway dammed Adair Creek. There definitely is a lot of history! Next time, we'll have to see what's on the other side of the Swinging Bridge. There was definitely a lot to see; I couldn't include everything in the video! The population is approximately 850.
