Temperatures are starting to warm up; today's high is -17°C. However, the winds will be gusty, up to 56 km/h. This video is from last November. This location is in the Qu'appelle Valley, one of our top favorite viewpoints from which to fly our drones. I posted a fall video of this same area approximately 4 days ago. The frost and fog in the air were beautiful; you could even see the frost sparkling in the air. This area of the valley is south of Melville, Saskatchewan. The Qu'Appelle Valley runs from west to east across southern Saskatchewan. Its westernmost origins now lie flooded under the Qu'Appelle arm of Lake Diefenbaker. The valley ends a few kilometers across the Saskatchewan-Manitoba boundary at St. Lazare, where the Qu'Appelle River joins the Assiniboine. Song credit: Coldplay 'Paradise'.
