Qu'appelle Valley March 2nd, 2026

The best thing coming back home is the drive back through the Qu'appelle Valley. I thought everyone would be curious to see what the Valley looks like rightnow, it was yesterday but close enough. Today was a very cloudy day so we never went anywhere. Yesterday's drive we put on another 400kms. We left at 10:30am and headed to Manitoba and arrived at the Qu'appelle Valley around 5:30pm. We came back in from Rocanville into the Qu'appelle Valley where the Bear Creek area is! The cattle were eating grass near the Qu'appelle River, then we continued on and stopped at the horses! One of the horses was curious when we stopped and we played peek a boo! Some of the deer were out catching the last bit of Sun, most of the deer have gone up into the hills already. The arrows are where the train tracks were years ago, now a snowmobile trail! This area is east of Rainbow Hall and south of Esterhazy, Saskatchewan.
