A drive in the Qu'appelle Valley from the Rainbow Hall area to Kahkewistahaw at the Eagle!
We headed south into the Qu'appelle Valley today and flew our drones in the Rainbow Hall area. Then, I followed Lee with the drone while we drove west with a few stops in the Qu'appelle Valley. We turned north at the Kahkewistahaw, where the Eagle display is. The name Kahkewistahaw translates to "he who flies around" or "eagle flying in a circle," referring to a prominent Cree First Nation near the Qu'Appelle Valley, Saskatchewan. The nation is associated with the Bird's Point recreational area on Round Lake, and the area is rich in prairie wildlife and history. We continued to Dubuc and then home to Esterhazy! Same song, two different versions, enjoy! Song Credit: Alison Krauss & Union Station - The One Lucky, and Song Credit Cover: Elle & Toni - The Lucky One
