Tree Planting at Nemeiben Lake

Last summer the forests surrounding Nemeiben Lake and Wadin Bay campgrounds were damaged by wildfires. Park crews were forced to clear the majority of the remaining trees because of safety concerns - there's a much greater risk of a burnt tree falling than a living tree. In an effort to accelerate the recovery of these forests, local clothing retailer tentree​ partnered with SaskParks​ and designed a very unique collection – the Wildfire Capsule - honouring and benefiting the northern forests.
