Stopped by Sep 9, 2025. Quite a few waterfowl and shorebirds on the water. Tried a few casts from shore since I was there. No hits, no sign of fish. Known to have winterkilled years ago, but was near by anyways.
🎣 2 catches – Northern Pike (7lb), Walleye (4lb)

Fishing at Smuts Lake

Although this lake has been stocked in the past, the reports I've heard is that it has winter-killed and not been restocked since. There was also an aerator at one point but that has supposedly been moved to another lake.

You might be able to catch something here, but you'll most likely have more success somewhere else.

Smuts Lake is in the southern fishing zone.
