Shannon Lake

Shannon Lake is a medium sized (655 acre) stocked lake located 9.6km NNW of St. Benedict and 54km NNW of Humboldt. It was last stocked in 2023 with 200,000 Walleye Fry.

The lake was officially named on 1956-11-02.

Shannon Lake was named for a rancher that settled there in the late 1800's. He didn't stay long maybe a couple of years and gave up his land claim. The Reynaud family took over his land claim.
