Savard Lake

Savard Lake is a small lake in southern Saskatchewan. It is located 23km from the village of Shell Lake and 97km WNW of Prince Albert.

Savard Lake is in a unique location, with the only access being a private road with no public access. This means the lake is quiet and secluded, a perfect place for guests to relax and restore.

The conservancy has regulations in place to promote a healthy fish population in all bodies of water on the conservancy. Fishing is permitted, with specific guidelines needing to be followed. A healthy fish population means opportunity for catching and releasing trophy-sized pike. There is also walleye in the lake, but with an abundance of food in the lake, the walleye can be a challenging but rewarding catch.

There is also a well-kept trail network throughout the conservancy, perfect for hiking and exploring nature while staying at the Carlton Trail Guest Lodge and Loft.
