Johnstone Lake is a small (477 acre) lake located 129km NNE of La Ronge and 337km NE of Meadow Lake (City).

Johnstone Lake was named after John Edward Johnstone on 1968-01-05 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
