Groomes Lake is a small (228 acre) lake located 157km N of La Loche and 427km NNW of Meadow Lake (City).

Groomes Lake was named after William Anthony Groomes on 1963-03-06 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
