Shannon Lake

Shannon Lake is a fishing and recreational lake located 25km E of Wakaw and 54km NNW of Humboldt.

There is a private campground with RV and tenting spots at the south end of the lake. A public boat launch is adjacent to the campground. There is a subdivision of cabins on the north side of the lake.

The lake is stocked periodically with Walleye.

Shannon Lake was named for a rancher that settled there in the late 1800's. He didn't stay long maybe a couple of years and gave up his land claim. The Reynaud family took over his land claim.
