Lac Eauclaire

(Clearwater Lake)

Lac Eauclaire is a small recreational and fishing lake located 12km NNE of the Resort Village of Chitek Lake and 58km ESE of the City of Meadow Lake. The lake is entirely within Pelican Lake 191C Reserve. The lake is accessible from Highway 945 (gravel).

This is a very pretty lake with crystal clear water. It's a great destination for swimming, paddling, boating, and fishing.

There is a beach, campground and boat launch at the lake managed by the Pelican Lake Band.

Northern Pike, Yellow Perch, Lake Whitefish, Burbot, White Sucker and Cisco can be found in Lac Eauclaire. Although the lake once had an active lake trout stocking program they are no longer found in the lake. The lake trout stocking program was discontinued in 2011.

This lake has been personally visited by myself, Matthew Siemens.

Very, very pretty, clear lake! Has a great beach and swimming area. Campground is run by the reserve, looked very clean and well-maintained! I'll be back to Lac Eauclaire!
