Decent sized lake with quite a few houses on it near Humboldt. Not much for public access to the lake itself.

Humboldt Lake had a total fish kill in 2020 due to extremely low oxygen levels. Humboldt Lake will not be restocked with fish until the oxygen levels improve. This is not likely to happen due to the severe hyper eutrophic condition of this lake. The City of Humboldt drains their treated effluent into this very shallow lake. This has resulted in severe algae blooms including blue green algae. The severe algae blooms, which have occurred for many years, negatively impact the oxygen levels.
