Black Lake is a massive (110213 acre) lake located 381km NE of La Loche and 590km NNE of Meadow Lake (City). The lake is partially within Chicken 226, Chicken 224 (Reserve).

The lake was officially named on 1935-01-10.

Was only at the southern shore where the Fond Du Lac river flows into it. Other than a large amount of Black Flies, very beautiful lake

Black Lake is in the northern fishing zone.

Black Lake is partially within a First Nations Reserve. Please note that according to the Sask Anglers Guide:

Permission from the First Nation Chief or Band Council is required to fish on First Nations reserve lands.
